Use the interface. Keep the action legible.

removebg.lol is a browser tool with a small, stable set of controls. There is no public upload API to discover or call.

Browser automation

The UI is the integration surface.

Use a real browser when you need to operate the hosted tool. The controls are ordinary HTML controls, so an agent can use labels, roles, and live status text instead of coordinates or visual guesses.

  • Find the file input with its Choose image label and provide a PNG, JPG, or WEBP file.
  • After a file is selected, activate Remove background.
  • Observe the polite status region while the image is prepared and processed.
  • When the result is ready, activate Download PNG or read the comparison labels.

Local package

Run the engine in your own browser app.

For a product that needs a direct local integration, use the published @bg0/browser package. It accepts a browser Blob or File and returns a PNG blob. The model runs with WebGPU when it is available and WebAssembly as the compatibility path.

The returned object also includes the output dimensions, selected provider, quality, and processing duration. Revoke the object URL after the download is complete.

Boundary

There is no server-side removal endpoint.

Do not POST image files to the site or infer an undocumented API route. If your workflow needs background removal without a browser, install and run a suitable local package in the environment you control.
